YET another Book Review: The small Tigers of Shergarh by Ranjit lal!

Yes! this is YET another book review! Why? Because I had this awesome idea to review some of the most popular and great books that I have! And this is another book that I LOVE!! This is The Small Tigers of Shergarh!

This book is legit! This awe-inspiring book is literally one of my greatest reads ever. I can guarantee I have read this over and over and over A TON OF TIMES! I got this in 2016 and you won't believe it: I met Ranjit Lal personally and GOT MY COPY OF THIS BOOK SIGNED! I would give anything to meet him and so would you after reading this book!

So, the plot goes like this: A 14-year-old Shika, with her 7-year-old brother Sunny, reach the Sher Garh national tiger park after a distressing accident where both their parents died and Sunny stopped speaking because of the shock of their parent's death. They reach their uncle's house which sits beside a national tiger park. Her uncle is not much bothered about them and is an eccentric painter and it soon turns out Shika has to live with her uncle until things get better. They soon start to visit the national park regularly and have thrilling encounters with the tigers and other animals. They visit this wildlife park with Aslambhai, who has spent his life tracking animals, and his grandson, a little mischief carrier and is of sunny’s age. After seeing shika’s interest in the tigers (and also taking note of the terrible accident they have been through and how they desperately need a normal life), the field director and his daughter, Dipti, offer Shika a somewhat job.

She has to photograph the wildlife of this park and discover the park more. This means Shika and sunny have to be in the park from morning to evening and observe the wildlife. Soon his uncle agrees to allow this ride every day. Shika soon has an uplift in her mood and is beginning to get over the accident. But another situation butts in now. Her education. An old friend of her uncle's, Veena aunty, comes along starts poisoning her uncle’s mind on how this is a waste of Shika’s life (about how this whole national park visiting thing is just rubbish and school is the right direction for shika, and instead of giving sunny time to speak, she wants to put shika's brother in a sign language, away from shika!). Shika’s mood swings do not help and only make the situation worse. Veena aunty plans to separate both the siblings

Ok, so I am not going to reveal more of this book. It is not as sad or psychologic as I have described it, the ending is a total banger! It is a must-have book to call yourself an avid reader and this book will be a great way to introduce anyone to a higher level of reading. This book is in my top three favorites. It is a book with endless turns and twists which makes this book totally awesome. It seems like magic is woven into the words! This book is in complete Ranjit Lal vocabulary which makes it an interesting read. You shall soon find out the shocking and exciting turn in the role of Veena aunty and what her main motive was.

So, I hope you liked this book review. I am watching some series these days and maybe I will review them! Who knows! So, check out my other posts and stay tuned for more! Hope to see you very soon!
