Movie Review: Spies in Disguise

Image
Spies in disguise  is an action-packed, animated film that was released in 2019. This entertaining film is filled with very cool spy stunts and humour that will make you roll on the floor with laughter (and includes a lot of witty catchphrases).' While being full of action and comedy, its story is unlike any other, its ideas are out of this world and its scientific gadgets are next-gen. This movie is also voiced by many famous celebrities like Will Smith, Tom Holland and D.J Khalid. Let me tell you a little bit about the movie. This movie features Will Smith as the voice of an arrogant lance sterling, a spy, who is accidentally turned into a handsome blue birdie, which makes this movie even more captivating. Tom Holland is playing the role of a young quirky gadget guru named Walter, who holds responsible for lance’s transformation into his avian form. Throughout the journey, lance is annoyed by Walter’s presence, his weird gadgets and his transformation into a pigeon. La...

International Mountain Day

Image
The international world mountain day is coming up on 11th of December and I crave to see them having not seen them of almost 15 months. I have seen most of the kind of mountains: the rocky ones, the sandy ones, the icy ones and I have even seen one of the world's most oldest mountains which will be the Aravalli ranges. Yup, you heard that right, Aravalli mountains are about 1.8 Billion years old! they stretch for almost about 700 km throughout northwest India. They start in the country's capital, Delhi. stretching in the South-West direction, they pass through Haryana and Rajasthan and finally end in Gujarat. i love the icy ones as they are the most spectacular to watch. Most mountains are hard to drive through which i know for i have seen my dad drive carefully through the steep hills. mountains are homes to people, a place where people travel to, to watch its beauty and mountains are much more than hill stations. mountains have served as national boundaries for battles for ma...

Puzzled Book series By P.J Nicholas

Image
A book series of 4 books are the best mystery books I’ve read. The Puzzled Book Series by P.j Nicolas is a middle school book series where Peter and his friends solve and make very tricky puzzles and challenges to save the world. At the beginning of the series Peter is approached by an old man, and that man has a job for him.  Peter is extremely clever with an awesome sense of mathematics. And it's his skill of puzzle solving and maths that he is dragged into this matter. After the old man is done talking to peter, he tells him to form a team of 3 more kids. He is told that there are supernatural creatures known as weather gods which control the weather of an appointed planet. A god named Zoltan was earth's weather god. so old man told peter that Zoltan had asked the old man to create puzzles for Zoltan to be entertained. If not, he would cause mayhem on earth, for he can control the weather.  But now the man was too old to make more puzzles, so he asks peter to make...

Butterflies!

Image
It’s such a treat to have butterflies, fluttering around, making your garden a lovely space. These winged ones are a treat to watch and observe. They come in all types, literally, from a butterfly that camouflages like a dead leaf to one that has endless colors! And speaking of colors, one can be as brown as mud or as beautiful as the color wheel! These fragile creatures are a big help to the environment in pollination and other big jobs! They eat nectar and liquid from rotting fruit. They are also prey to small animals and birds.   And most of them do not have a lifespan longer than a year. Needless to say, they do all sorts of things! Their birth process is fascinating, its known as metamorphosis and includes 4 stages which are, egg, larvae, pupa or chrysalis and finally an adult. This whole process is what turns a fat caterpillar to a butterfly. Their eggs are stuck by the one who laid it, with a sticky glue kind of liquid which prevents the egg to fall down. Then after...

Covid times

Nobody knew that we would be in this current type of situation when the whole thing started. My name is Atharva Pachori, I’m 11 years old, I am a home schooler and I live in Ahmedabad, India. Like I said, no one knew that we would be in this situation when it all started because the whole thing was so unpredictable, the lockdown, the rise and fall of the number of cases, recoveries, deaths and so it goes on and on. Plus, I can’t forget what it’s like to see the shirt you ordered, stay in quarantine for a whole week until you finally take it out take a nice good look at it and put it on. Like I said, I’m a home schooler but most of my friends aren’t. So, I would get regular calls from them regarding their daily NEW type of life, here’s how it went: they all were bored, like SUPER bored for because earlier they spent 8 hours a day in their classrooms, playground, playing, eating, running and a lot more more more more but   now it was all at home. For a change, I was pretty happy with...
